Admin HistoryAfter signing the scriptwriting agreement in 1980 with the NFFC, Douglas was not under contract as a director for 'Comrades' until August 1985 when Simon Relph headed the production. Peter Jewell was also compensated for his work as Douglas' manager, researcher, and typist for the film.
