Description	Two boxes containing: several of Bill Douglas' and his mother's paintings. Bill's paintings are mostly portraits and include paintings of James Dean and Anne Frank. His Mother painted landscapes. Box 1 contains smaller unframed pictures; Box 2 contains larger unframed pictures. There is also a cupboard door painted with an abstract pattern by Bill Douglas.
Admin History	Like his Mother, Rose Beveridge, Bill Douglas was a keen painter and used a number of his paintings as part of his application for film school. His mother continued painting whilst in hospital. He used all manner of materials to paint on like cardboard boxes and even a door.
