TitleAndrea Weiss/'Ticket to Anywhere'
DescriptionThis folder predominantly relates to the production of 'Ticket to Anywhere'. There are various letters sent to people including Jurgen Brunning, Liz Wren and Michael Flugger asking for their opinions of the script. Many of the documents relate to the financing of the film, and there are letters from American Playhouse, the London Production Fund, Kinowelt Filmverleih and Channel Four declining involvement with or funding for the film. There is also some correspondence with the European Script fund and an application form for funding as well as a booklet containing guidelines on applications, although the film was denied any funding.

However, there is also correspondence with Jurgen Brunning, who expressed interest in funding the film, about the film's synopsis and cv's of the people involved. [some correspondence is in German, but there are some translations]. Additionally there is a letter to Dominique Welinski, asking if she would like to be involved with producing 'Ticket to Anywhere'.

This file also contains a writers agreement between Stephen McBride and Basilisk and correspondence preparing the agreement as well as an invoice for McBride's additional fee. There is also a contract confirming negotiation of rights to the purchasing of the script which are subject to German funding. Development budgets, budgets for the film and an invoice for legal fees are also included.

Other items of interest include correspondence between Basilisk and Greta Schiller at Jezebel Productions about the development of 'Ticket to Anywhere' and the proposal to change to a low budget approach. This includes correspondence over the financing of the project and Basilisks withdrawal from the project and therefore the termination of the contract between Basilisk and Jezebel Productions. There is also a treatment for the film, an information sheet on Jezebel Productions and two information sheets about broadcasting.

The file also includes a brief outline of A Bit of Scarlet, another film by Andrea Weiss, and two pictures [possibly from 'Ticket to Anywhere']
