DescriptionFolder of material relating to the erasure of three Arab villages - Imwas (Emmaus), Yalu and Beit Nuba - by Israeli soldiers following the 1967 war, including Adams' twelve-page typescript 'The Road to Emmaus', copies of his articles on the topic for The Sunday Times (16 June 1968) and The Independent, (16 June 1991) - a four-page typed article 'Latrun Revisited', copies of other articles by Donald Nicholl (The Tablet, 7 September 1991) and Bob Hepburn (Toronto Star, 6 October 1991), criticism of Adams' claims in the Jerusalem Post (6 December 1991), a booklet by Christoph Uehlinger, 'Palestinian Localities destroyed after 1948) (2nd edition, 1989) and a large dossier of material - including maps and aerial photographs - compiled by Abu Sitta, along with letters from Sitta to Adams (1994 and 1996), a small folder with three colour prints (and transparencies) showing the same view of Emmaus in 1958, 1968 and 1978, a 'Truprint' packet of 24 6" x 4" colour prints of photographs taken in and around the villages, and a small plastic box of mounted 35mm transparencies of the same images.
