| Description | Show files for Northcott Theatre productions. These files typically include material such as financial accounts, licence agreements, press releases, production agreements, correspondence regarding royalties, tour schedules, set plans, correspondence with tour venues, and publicity material. Occasionally the files will contain scripts or costume designs. All the files are labelled with the run dates and many of them have a list of tour venues on the front. Up until the abolition of the official censor in 1968 the files also contain correspondence and licences from the Lord Chamberlain's Office. These files may also contain rehearsal notes, show reports, performer/ designer contracts and children's licences. The original folders have been retained where they detail additional info concerning touring. |
