| Description | Collection of scrapbooks, wallpaper sample books and folders containing press cuttings collated by the Northcott Theatre. Includes articles from national and regional newspapers, industry publications, student publications and local newsletters. The cuttings focus on upcoming productions and general news concerning the theatre but also also reflect the general arts landscape, particularly in the South West. The cuttings include news on Arts Council funding, general Exeter/ Devon issues, ex-directors/ repertory members/ staff, the reception of touring production, and other South West theatre's (particularly Plymouth Theatre Royal, Beaford Arts Centre, and the Minack Theatre). The cuttings are often affixed to the back of correspondence, press releases, and print outs from the Northcott Theatre. The cuttings have generally been collated in a loose date order and are occasionally grouped by production within a file, though a production may also appear in 'misc' or 'general' sections.
