| Description | Limited edition copy of 'Howls and Whispers' by The Gehenna Press. There were one hundred and ten copies of this book printed by hand in Centaur type on Italian handmade paper; numbers one to eleven comprised the deluxe edition and contained three watercolours, a second set of etchings, one copperplate and a leaf of Ted Hughes manuscript and contain eleven poems not included in 'Birthday Letters', but later included in Hughes 'Collected Poems'. This is copy 'd' and contains eleven watercolours and a copperplate of the illustration accompanying the poem 'The Laburnum', but no manuscript. Signed by Ted Hughes and Leonard Baskin. |
