McCarthy, 'British Policy towards Arabia 1960-70' (1985), various photocopies writings on the city of Sanaa, including the reminiscences of Samuel Zwemer (from The Golden Milestone, 1938) and a copy of a dissertation by Sarah Horrell on 'Retreat from Empire - the British Withdrawal from South Arabia' (1990) inside of which are two letters from the author to Bidwell, thanking him for his help with her research, and a six-page typed letter to 'Miss Horrell' answering her questions on the South Arabian Federation, marked on the front page with Bidwell's name but with 'DJMcC' at the end, indicating it was written by Donald J McCarthy.
