Description | This series comprises notes, mainly in notebooks, concerning a variety of subjects, including: extracts from sermons; extracts from devotional and liturgical literature; prayer and meditation; questions and answers concerning the Divine Office; singing and plain chant; visions and miracles witnessed by sisters in the community, including some which took place in Lisbon; the horarium [daily schedule]; and bell-ringing.
Includes an envelope with a note about a 'holy' Miss Griffiths and a a legend concerning a 'crock of gold'', as well as three devotional cut-out paper doves, and 'earth from the cave of the Apparaition of Our Lady at Tre Fontane' affixed to a small piece of card with sellotape. |
