The composer addresses Ronald Duncan at various points through the pieces and he is asked to give his opinion as soon as possible. At 13:50, there is a brief recording of a male voice, possibly Duncan's, singing the tune of one of the numbers. This is followed by a dictated letter from Ronald Duncan to Mr. Turner concerning a selection of poems with concerns about the consistency of their quality. Housed in Emitape box labelled 'Music for E. Pounds Play' and later crossed out. Duration 46:24. Digital surrogate available.
