Items include two copies of Issue 1 of the International Kurdish Women's Studies Network Bulletin (1998), an undated Poem by Mela Hesen, a copy of a poem about Newroz written in Sorani Kurdish, a statement by Yekêtî Hunermendanî Kurdistan (Union of Artists of Kurdistan) from 1983, an autobiographical memoir written by Ibrahim Ahmad in a letter to Omar Sheikhmous, the first day cover of the first ever Kurdish postage stamp (1993), an information sheet by the Kurdish Program/Cultural Survival in NY on a photographic exhibition 'The Kurds: an endangered people' (1985), a promotional flyer for Kurdish film En sång för Beko and various other cultural events in Sweden (1994-95), an appeal (in Swedish) for a museum about the Kurdish writer Mehmed Uzun (1953-2007), photocopies of two undated poems on Kurdistan, a leaflet celebrating Nawruz, promotional fliers for various books on Kurdistan or by Kurdish authors, a faxed letter from Kurdish poet Kadim Jasim al Samawi to Sheikhmous (2003) and two accompanying faxed letters of recommendation (from Iraqi minister Abdul Razzaq Aziz Mirza and academic Ezzatddien Mustafa Rasoul) sent on behalf of the poet, a print-out of three online articles on a standard Kurdish language by Amir Hassanpour and Hesen Qazî (Ruwange & Netkurd, 2006), two copies of an article by Kurdish author Selîm Berekat 'Li ser mirîkên diya xwe û tûtina bavê xwe dinivîsînim' (1998), a short story 'The Smile on the Green Hill' by S. B. Sorekli, an undated handwritten list by Omar Sheikhmous of books on Kurds and Kurdistan including titles in English, French, German and Swedish, a pamphlet on 'A proposal to fund the "Kurdistan Times" journal' with a letter to Sheikhmous from its author, 'Kurdistan Times' editor Mustafa Al Karadaghi (1994), a book review of David McDowall's 'Modern History of the Kurds' (1996) with a follow-up letter from Rashid Karadaghi, Issue no. 16 of Yekgirtin (1993), a selection of art exhibition catalogues and posters, a programme for the First Scientific Conference of Sulaimani University (2000), the script for a film entitled Mitt Namn Ar Frihete [My Name is Freedom] by Jurij Perov and Sarbast Rasol, and programmes for Kurdish cultural festivals held in Bremen (1988) and Berlin (1989).

The poster file includes promotional posters for films such as Zozan, several political and protest posters from the PUK, Kurdistan Toilers League and other parties, including ones in memory of Necmettin Buyukkaya and Abdul Rahman Faraj, adverts for literary and cultural events such as a reading by Cegerxwin, as well as general posters about the Kurds and Kurdistan.
