Description | Comprising assorted papers relating to the Field Days project, presumably collected by Sue Clifford (Co-Founder and Joint Coordinator of Common Ground), including:
- general correspondence relating to the Field Days project;
- manuscript project notes;
- 10-page response from Common Ground's concerning the Countryside Commission's paper on 'Quality of Countryside: Quality of Life' (1995);
- a typescript draft text for a Field Days leaflet;
- typescript documents outlining the Field Days programme and project objectives;
- photocopied entry forms for the Countryside Commission competition 'Changing Landscapes', completed by children aged between three and thirteen;
- papers relating to local environmental and arts events and projects concerning fields;
- magazines, press clippings, photocopied articles and promotional material relating to fields;
- publications, including reports and landscape assessments relating to fields;
- a press release for an art installation by Antony Gormely entitled 'Field for the British Isles' (1995);
- and an article written by Sue Clifford entitled 'Fruits of the Earth (published in 'Tree News).

Arrangement | Previously stored by Common Ground in a magazine file labelled 'Sue's Fields'. However, this magazine file was deteriorating and was deemed no longer suitable for storage. The papers have been repackaged into acid-free folders and the original order has been maintained. |
