Description | Comprising papers compiled through the administration of the Trees, Woods and the Green Man project, in particular concerning projects about trees and orchards for which Common Ground and other organisations were seeking funding from the Millennium Commission. This file includes:

- funding applications and correspondence concerning the Tree Council's 'Millennium Trees' project;
- a short typescript speech or article by Sue Clifford (Joint Coordinator of Common Ground),
- entitled 'Orchards: nature, culture and future';
- a draft article or speech entitled 'Traditional Orchards';
- a proposal by Common Ground for the project 'Millennium Fires';
- Common Ground leaflets for the Community Orchards and Apple Day projects;
- papers relating to the Common Ground project 'Community Orchards for the Third Millennium', including a project budget and correspondence;
- papers relating to a Millennium Project between Common Ground and Gloucestershire County Council entitled 'Restoring our Landscape';
- and papers relating to an orchard project by the Brogdale Horticultural Trust. |
