2 Letter from J Holland of Dishley to William Gale concerning the plan to transport cattle to Jamaica, dated 01 September 1774.

3 Correspondence between J Holland and William Gale, dated 08 September and 14 September 1774 respectively, relating mainly to organising Holland’s passage to Gale’s farm in Jamaica and the details of his contract, as well as the transportation of cattle. This document also mentions Henry Dawkins, owner of plantations and enslaved people in Jamaica, and Captain Smith.

7 'Copy of what Mr Whittaker requested might be mentioned to Mr Gale by Mr Sharpe', relating to the impact of weather and the harvesting and transportation of Gale’s crops, as well as the purchasing and relocation of enslaved people; the care of Gale’s cattle; the construction of a dam wall; a settlement between Mr Dawes and Mr Luanell; and damages owed to Mrs Harding.
