Description | Correspondence with Agatha Christie, 1951, concerning letting of property, tax affairs, publications and production of plays whilst Christie was away in Baghdad for the earlier part of the year. Includes discussion of production of 'The Hollow' and 'Three Blind Mice'. Also letters relating to her new novel 'Mrs McGinty's Dead', 'They came to Baghdad' and 'They do it with Mirrors'. Amongst other subjects covered are proposals for Miss Marple and 'Love from a Stranger' on television, radio adaptations and 'Festival of Britain' celebrations and publicity. Personal matters, her mother-in-law's terminal illness, Greenway staff and running Greenways market garden are also mentioned. Correspondents include Rosalind Hicks. |
