| Admin History | The production was a collaboration between Kneehigh and Nick Darke. It was a period piece set in 1815 looking at the boom-and-bust aspect of Cornish copper mining. This show marked Darke's return to his native Cornwall.
This show had previously been performed at the National theatre with Barbara Jefford, Ralph Fiennes, Robert Carlise. Darke reportedly said that he was not keen on this production and Kneehigh offered to reclaim the play for him.
