Admin HistoryKneehigh's 'Scrooge: A Winter Ghost Story' was an adaptation of Charles Dickens ' A Christmas Carol' performed throughout Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Somerset and Wales in the Winter of 1992-93 in the following venues:

The production was a faithful adaptation of the original source material with no significant changes to plot or structure. Features simple Victorian carols as a musical accompanyment. The production retains some of Kneehigh's signiture comedic elements and a degree of audience interaction. Bill Mitchell's design is restrained, featuring beige cloth backdrops juxtaposed by occasional bursts of colour. Many of the players wear dark period gowns and clothes.
