Admin History | Inspired by the work of Louis Berniers and Gabriel Garcia Marquez 'Strange Cargo is a comedy about an elderly community, a bright new dawn and it's about love and loss, happy accidents and quirky charms. It's about a fiesta and a homecoming. It's about belief in miracles, superstition and change. It's about old and new and the power of misrule...all told through the stylised fashion of music, imagery and action.' (Programme, FCP8/K/3).
The language of Esperanza has been developed texturally by Mercedes Kemp using Spanish as a starting point.
