Admin History | The Riot is based on the disturbance that occurred in the port of Newlyn Cornwall on Monday May 18th 1896 and is a Kneehigh collaboration with Nick Darke. It was performed at the Cottesloe Theatre as a co-production between Kneehigh and The National Theatre. Production started at the Cottesloe 4th of February 1999 and ran until April 28th, 1999.
