Description | A production developed in collaboration with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Bristol Old Vic inspired by the Mozart/Da Ponte opera Don Giovanni. The production is set during the winter of discontent in 1978-79 and focuses on the romantic escapades of a man in a small English town.
The production was generally well recieved for its modern take on a classic tragedy and for its ability to provide a greater depth in the portrayal of female characters.
