Description | Running time 4 minutes and 9 seconds.
A local news piece regarding Kneehigh's shows and workshops with school children in Jersey, based on the comic strip Asterix the Gaul. There were three days of workshops with 50 children each day with the outcome being a performance for parents.
The workshops have a focus on rhythm and building props for the performance. The performance is only loosely based on the story of Astrix as a framework.
The footage features two interviews with Kneehigh Director Mike Shepherd and one with a school pupil participant named Daniel.
Mike Shepherd's first interview runs from 00:33 to 01:53, and second, which is a voiceover interview, runs from 02:38 to 03:34.
The interview with the participant runs from 03:38 to 04:02. |
