DescriptionThe following records were removed from published volumes in the Bronte Special Collection during library cataloguing process:

- Boylan Does Bronte - cutting from unknown publication about writer Clare Boylan developing a novel from two chapters written by Charlotte Bronte in 1855
- Postcard of Scarborough Castle and Anne Bronte's grave dated 1911. Reverse of postcard bears message and is addressed to L K Elmhirst and Reverend A Cattley, Repton College Burton on Trent.
- 'A light in the Kitchen' review of Emily Bronte: a Chainless Soul by Catherine Frank for unknown publication written by Lydnall Gordon and dated 25th November 1990
- Letter to Shelia Johnson dated 10th August 1996 from Glyn Hughes relating to book written by Hughes titled 'Bronte'
- Cornish Men & Matters column from the West Briton dated 31st December 1964 detailing a booklet titled 'Recollections of our old home' written by Charlotte fox of Falmouth.
- 'Jubilee of the Jubilee' by Kenneth Rose for the Daily Telegraph dated 22nd June 1957. Article reflects on the diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria.
- Times Literary Supplement 10 November 1972 - John Ruskin prose-painter
- Letter to Sheila Johnson dated 27th November 1983 from Walter M Johnston relating to the new edition of poems by Branwell Bronte
- 'Best homework in history?' review of 'The Belgian Essays: a Critical Edition by Charlotte and Emily Bronte written by Nigel Nicolson for the Daily Telegraph 19th April 1997
- Letter to Shelia Johnson dated 18th November 1982 from The Incorporated Bronte Society regarding the purchase of a limited edition of Dr Christine Alexander's Bibliography of the Charlotte Bronte writings.
