Title | 'The Great Stone Circle of Boscawen-Un' by Map Melyn |
Description | An exploration of who the builders of the stone circle may have been, looking at what religous ideas may have inspired its construction. This is followed by an account of the origins of that race, looking to a union between mediterranaen peoples and central Europeans in Brittany and subsequent erection of the neolithic site at Carnac. The account continues with the invasion of Cornwall and linking the construction of Boscowen-Un to other meglithic sites such as Avebury and Stonehenge. This also looks at menhirs from a biblical perspective and includes an ink sketch of the stone circle. |
